I have worked for over four years as a software developer. I have developed position keeping and pricing systems for the trading desks of a major investment bank. I have also developed probes and monitors for some of the largest telecommunications networks in the world.

I studied computer science within my undergraduate degree. I have since gained several professional qualifications and am a Sun Certified Java Programmer for the Java 2 Platform (SE 5.0). I am currently studying for the Zend PHP 5 Certification Exam.

My skill set includes Affinity, C/C++, ColdFusion, CSS, DHTML, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, Illustrator, Java, JavaScript, Joomla!, Moodle, MySQL, Photoshop, PHP, R, S+, SAS, SQL, Squarespace, UNIX, WordPress, XHTML, and XML.

I am particularly interested in high level languages like Java. I very much like working with Joomla! and I have a strong interest in developing online educational resources using systems such as Moodle.
