I am interested in international relations and modern history. I have a particular interest in the political effects of emerging communication technologies, the subject of the minor thesis of my Master of Arts (International Relations).

I study for pleasure as much as for professional advancement and am almost always studying part time towards a qualification of some sort. I am currently studying for the Zend PHP 5 Certification Exam and for a Master of Applied Statistics.

I like tinkering with my own software and web design projects when time permits. I am particularly interested in high level languages like Java. I very much like working with Joomla! and I have a strong interest in developing online educational resources using systems such as Moodle.
